Leadership in Medical Support for Executive Protection

Raven Medical Support Group was founded by Michael Guirguis, M.D, who is the Chief Medical Officer of the organization overseeing all Private and Corporate Executive Protection Medical Programs.  He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern California.  He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and has been practicing for over 20 years.  Dr. Guirguis volunteers his time as a Reserve Sheriff Deputy, spending the majority of his time on a Helicopter conducting rescues with Sheriff Air Rescue Division.  He has also been a Dive Team Physician and is well-versed in EMS, Tactical Medicine, Flight Medicine, and Pre-Hospital Care.  

Dr. Guirguis is collaborating with experts to improve the medical care EP and Security personnel provide by providing his expertise as a member of the working group and technical committee to the future ANSI standard, “Standard for Providing Executive Protection,” by the Board of Executive Protection Professionals.

Our work centers on accountability, ethical medical practice, and clearly defined governance structures.

We do not operate as an emergency response service or primary care provider. Our role is to establish oversight, structure, and medical leadership frameworks that support executive protection teams and private operations in maintaining preparedness and regulatory alignment.

Our philosophy is simple: medical risk is often the most overlooked vulnerability in high-risk environments. Through defined governance and physician-led oversight, we help organizations reduce exposure and improve decision-making clarity.
